What's up everyone. I new here and to owning a K5. I searched around for a while and found what I hope ends up being a pretty well bulletproof. It's an 87 blazer with a Dana 60 front and a 14-bolt rear riding on 35" baja claws with 4.10 gears. It has a 4 bolt 350 and a 700r4 trans. The hardtop was removed and replaced with a custom soft top. There's a little bit of rust and the interior needs a little work, but I was wanting something to play with.

Anyway, being new to the K5s, is there anything I should look for or be weary of with this combination of parts? Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to figure out posting pictures, but I'm not finding the manage attachments icon. When my noobishness wears off, I'll get some up

Welcome :waytogo: Your truck and your wallet will never be the same  :haha:

Good looking rig, with that combo and tire size you should be pretty good to go. I like a little more gear then 4.10's but they will work. If anything make sure you've got a good cooler on that 700 and a temp gauge is a good idea as well.

Thanks for the heads up. Definately something for me to look into.

Do you have any steering box strength adders? AKA weld on or bolt in pieces? I'd do those before you NEED to.

Need interior shots :)
