new hose question

I got a new hose for my steering box just put on crossover this one is an o-ring hose so is the box, thing is the hose came with 3 o-rings 2 the same size and one smaller where does the smaller o-ring go?

1983 chevy blazer new 2wd box from ORD 3 o-rings 1 hose......

I know the two of the same size go on the hose fittings but my question is for the 3rd and smaller one where does it go?
