New Kayline tops look funny

Have any of you seen the new Kayline tops? Here's the pics that are on their website:

Is it just me or do the new tops look weird??? I may stick with the old style and drill the holes in my body...

Yes, they do look funny, too bad they could not merge the two and have the fastrac system with the old top!

Damn, I was waiting for the news one too for my 75'. They said that the full soft top for full convertible K5's will come out next April. If they still look like that, I'll definately will reconsider.

does anyone know if they're gonna lower their prices on the older models? now that they have this new, good-looking top, i mean. and i don't know what the hell the problem is with this new top. picture a mid-eighties, white, lowered blazer. add true-classic spokes. some gold leaf and pinstriping. a car club trophy thingie in the back window. and now the topper. maybe even dark green! throw on some 8" wide tires on 16" wide rims, and yer ready for some cruuuuuzin!
