New Member Got 2 new blazer\'s!!!

Well I bought a 78 Jimmy and a 76 K5(parts truck). The 78 Jimmy Has an old 4 inch lift(steering is horrible) just replaced the steering box, stabilizers, and all the shocks..still not a stiff ride /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I think I have to replace the springs, so time for a bigger lift8 inches i was thinking. now how bad is it going to look with an 8 inch lift (+3 inch body on it already) and 35's?(which are new..should have waited) also any ideas on how far I have to extend the drive shafts?

thanks in advance

8" will be fun. I have a 6" on my Blazer that I'm pretty happy with. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

thats going to look wierd..i would replace the springs you have with the same hieght..are you at 9 inches right now..?

Re: New Member Got 2 new blazer\'s!!!

yes I have 9 now, and would start saving now for bigger tires and/or sell the NEW 35's on it now...what size tire could I clear with an 8 inch suspension and 3 inch body?

Re: New Member Got 2 new blazer\'s!!!

Hell with that amount of lift, depending on your flex (soft or stiff springs) anywhere from 39.5 to even 42"
But that will cost ya /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
