Greetings,
I've been lurking about the forum for quite some time now and figured I should register eventually. I bought a 89 Chevy K5 Blazer a few years back and went to work on it to make it a mudding machine. I've swapped the 1/2 ton axles for some 1 tons and put on my own custom suspension lift and crammed some 44's under it. I had a 350 proffesionally done to provide the torque and hp for such large tires.

I'm looking for people around the waukesha area that like to go mudding.

I live in Upper michigan, Escanaba Area, but I don't think my truck can compete with 44's in the mud. With 35's my truck will probably be up to the mirrors!

Hey I'm from Ann Arbor. Do you have any snow up there yet?

Well there are a few WI guys out there. Realsquash (Andy) and DRAGE (Brent) are both in WI and are VP and Pres of the club they are in. Riz is in Hudson. There are a few of us over here in MN as well.

sorry, I don't have any of it. No scanner. But, it is a beaut. Painted it jet black and I'm thinking about chroming out some of the components and making it a show truck and starting another mudding machine.

It was just a thought. I've got a few other vehicles that I hope to make into mud machines and a couple of cars that I'm working on as well. And no it will not be 100" of lift that make the 44's look dinky. I just want to shine it up and win a few trophy's.

Some areas up here got about 4" of snow but we only got a dusting of snow in Escanaba. Sure do look forward to playing around in the snow though. I also have a RMK 600 Polaris. I had to go with the Rocky Mountain King (RMK) so I can go anywhere off trail. Just like my K5!

I went to college with a kid from Escanaba. Does Joe Robitoy (sp?) sound familiar? I went to Ferris State with him. Maybe you know him?
