Hello all. I am new to this site. I just bought a '72 K5 Blazer today. Does anyone have a hardtop or a windshield that they would like to sell?

Hello John,

Welcome to the best 72 site around. Yep, I've got both of what you're looking for.

Where are you located? Tops are kinda unwieldy, and hard to ship.

I'm just north of Salt Lake City, U-tah.

I have a top for sale in north Florida if you're up for the drive. Windshields are cheap enough from a local glass shop. Check with them before buying one used. I actually only pay $300 per year for full coverage insurance that includes glass breakage. That may be an option you want to consider.
Email me if you can't find a top any closer. I have a 72 Blazer that I've been parting out so keep my email address handy in case you need anything else.

Thanks Guys,

Harry, I live in TN, so UT is a bit of a drive for me :-).

Travis, I will keep your email addy handy. I just may need some of your parts.

I'll agree with that Burt!! Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I found a good windshield in Nashville for $50. Still looking for a top though.

Thanks Steve for the compliment on the TA. I'm pretty happy with it. It is my daily driver and turns 11.97@114 in the 1/4 mile with basic bolt ons (headers, 3200 stall converter, 3.73 gears, a few other odds and ends) and absolutely no nitrous. These LS1 engines are very stout, check out www.LS1.com forums.

That's a real nice TA you have there too. I'll bet it's a really great road racer. Sorry to hear about your engine trouble on your Blazer. I really liked the '78 Z28 tach idea. I think I will try that on my Blazer.
