New member - New truck owner

Drop the front a couple inches, put some big meats on the back and some traction bars. Sexy

I would say that whatever it may be worth (I can't really be sure) but it's probably quite a bit less than if it was a four wheel drive. The 2WD might be more rare, but it's still a 2WD. Just not very appealing to most people that would be interested in an truck like that.

For an off-roader, I'm sure it's not appealing at all. But for someone into cruisers, or less common vehicles, I know they'd pay well for something worth while and in good shape. Though, we'll see.

i personaly would love to own that. with that said ill tell ya how i would do it.
first i would do the full top conversion to it make it a real convert. lower it some smooth it all (shaved handles ext) mild small block and just cruize it

Looks to be in great shape. A little lower, some wider rear tires and different rims and you've got a great cruiser. Convertible for nice weather too.

2wd's aint so bad...

I had a 75 2wd K5,and I liked it a lot!--had a 250 six and a three speed tranny at first,I swapped a 307 V8 and a Vega saginaw 4 spd in it..I loved it in the summer,it had the fully removeable top,and it rode much better than my 4x4 72 K5,since it had coil springs up front--got better gas mileage too..it wasn't that bad in the winter ,it had a posi--but I didnt drive it very often in the snow, since I had the 72 K5 4x4-..

I think a 2wd Blazer would bring decent coin to the summer cruiser lowered street truck crowd around here--they'ed lower it,put 20" gangsta rims on it,and a hot 454 in it..2wd Blazers are like hens teeth in new england--not many Blazer buyers opted for a 2wd truck in this part of the USA!..

Welcome to poverty, owning a K5 is almost as bad as owning Jeeps, gets spendy but well worth it in the end..

I'd say that goes for any car you mod. :) I spent thousands on my last car and plan to spend thousands more on my current and future cars.
