It looks even better in person! The doors shut without lifting the door handle first...the rockers are, well.....THERE....not smashed in or rotted out, it has seats, and carpet and seems downright civilized....
Kurt's the first "1st Gen" guy I've met since arriving here... (he's still about 2 hours away though!)..... I think I have already "corrupted" his mind because he's already starting to think about building a "wheeler" now...... [/evil grin]

ps. Showed your "Burnout Video" to a couple of the young neighborhood kids today....they're eyes popped-out and their jaws just dropped!!!! It was great, I think they'll be talking about it for weeks....

you mean the *lift the door then shut/open* isn't a first gen k5 characteristic? When i get tired of it or when the door falls off i'll get another Daily Driver, whichever comes first. 
What smashed up rockers? you mean that 3x2 .188" box tubing?

I'll be in Hollister in July, but I'm flying not driving.... now Moab 2006 is another story, I'll be excited to make the 4000 mile round trip for that one!!! Maybe Kurt's up for that????? [/hint]

thats towards the end of the "jungle trail" with my friend kevin in the white tpi blazer.. he popped the front left tire off the bead, right at the top of that hill where he had to get winched out for like 2 hours.
