Hey, Just signed up after following along on some very informative threads. I bought my first K5 3 years ago (it’s been my dream truck since I was a kid). Once the K5 needle hit the vein I’ve gone a little crazy for them. All 3 are good and bad in opposite spots.

Brown one has no engine and blown tranny. It’s got a pretty good interior. All the plastic clips and odds and ends pieces are complete. For $600 I had to.

Black one has a newer engine rebuild and I bought it and picked it up directly for the transmission shop that put a new one in.

I just bought the red silver one. I look in the bed and see every single panel that has rust on it now has a replacement. 350 with headers. Holley carb. ¾ ton 8 lugs. It’s going to be my road queen eventually but a very VERY rough barebones interior. Rust everywhere inside.

Anyway, I’m sure there’s a new member forum but I searched quickly and didn’t see it. So, go easy on me. I’m just a pipe fitter pretending to be a mechanic here.

Welcome aboard !!.....:waytogo:

Your membership will pay for itself many times over.. on questions answered, time saved, etc...
There are many good people here willing to steer you in the right direction, and know our rigs inside and out..

I said "NEW" memebers :D however, I always enjoy good company and few cold ones. Not very many members on here close to the GA/FLA line that I am aware of.
@ktmoutfront got a new hip, feels like a new man and figured that was that qualification!

:haha:
