Hi everybody, my name is Caleb and I recently got a 1971 Jimmy. It has a basic SBC, SM465, NP205, and D60/D70 axles. It is riding on 42" IROK's on H1 beadlocks. I currently have a 1969 bronco that is going to be sold to make more room for this one. Just thought I would introduce myself and show a quick picture. I look forward from learning from all the members here. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all!

Welcome aboard, hang on to your wallet, that sucking sound is you being introduced to all the stuff your rig NEEDS!

I have had it less than a week and already ordering cool stuff I don't really need! lol but I've been down this road quite a few times, it seems to always work that way!

Nice first Jimmy! :waytogo:

Now go wash that Camaro! :D

Thank you, and yes it needs a washing in a bad way. The joys of living where the dirt always blows!

Wow you know its a nice jimmy when I didn't even notice a first gen Camaro. I agree, that much dirt and dust is unacceptable.

In my defense, the Camaro is just a roller right now. Still getting my engine assembled in my free time. So y'all and a few friends that come by are the only ones who will see it in such sad shape. In the meantime, I figure all that dust is just preserving the paint for me!

Question for you six shooter, I have never seen exposed hinges like on your doors? What's the deal?

These doors were modified by the previous owner so they simply lift off when you want to remove them, much like you see on Jeeps. Works great!
