Awesome and welcome!

As of right now i am in the middle of a B-52/ shackle flip and putting 3/4 tons under it. Should be done at the end of the week. After that, clean it up. Minimal body work and what not. then drop an LS in it. still undecided on 5.3 or 6.0. depends on what the budget looks like! Its mostly going to be a hunting/camping rig but if i can find a descent deal on a half cab i might just have to make it my dd.

I like the DD idea. I wish I would have gone that route with mine. Might have to find a good 67-72 to do the same to.

Yeah, seems pricy but not many around... just ran across that today and saw that you mentioned it.

Daily with 52s is fun. I did that for a few years and straight line they ride great but the corners you can get decent sway.
Looks nice.

Haha I think this is appropriate... image.jpeg

Yeah I'll probably go with an adjustable front shock so I can really dial it in. I was able to get the front springs hung, and the axle in with the help of a buddy last night so she's now a roller! Don't Mind my messy garage

ah oh, I see unbraced door frames with no rocker panel or torsion boxes... Make sure you get some measurements from someone and brace up that opening before you weld things back up or your going to end up with doors that don't fit. That firewall and window frame is completely unsupported as it sits right now and there is no way to be sure that it hasn't moved all over the place.

lucky bastard. :P

That's good to hear though. It's a bit of a mantra around here to brace the doors, but only because we've all seen what happens when someone forgets to do just that. There is a thread around here somewhere where a guy got all of his bodywork done, painted and put the truck back together only to find that the doors didn't fit anymore. Not a position you'd want to find yourself in for sure.
