Well ol' lady stomped my turbo dreams out! So I was told to just put it in and run it. Is there any tail tail signs that something is wrong? Since I won't be rebuilding it I need it to last till at least fall or so. I do plan on makin a custom CAI and splurging on a set of stans headers with straight pipe out to a single six inch stack.

The odometer says 39000. So there's no tellin how many miles are on it. How long is the fuel pump and injectors good for? Any other parts that are high wear that I need to replace?

You're gonna run a six inch stack off a non-turbo 6.2? Have fun with that

Seriously though, if you're going to change anything before you drop it in, change the timing chain. After that, everything is easy to do in the truck, so you might as well run it and figure out the engine from there.

So, you are just going to drop in the engine and run it but want to spend $600 on a set of headers? You also realized you can't use these if you go turbo down the road? Don't get me wrong, they would be nice, but???

Not now the outer bolt hole on the block for the starter is broke so I have it out now to fix that. So while I got it out ill go through it.
