I went and picked up my 1 ton axles today. Those things were a lot heavy that I thought they were gonna be. It took 3 of us too load them, and I somehow managed to unload them by meself. The gear ratios don't match, 4.10 front and 3.73 govloc rear, but I'm just glad I've got them. I picked them both up for $850. Here are some PICS. Tell me what you think.

Thanks! I'm leaving the 4.10's in the front. They look brand new. I'm probably gonna sell the rear and look for a 4.10 rear instead of changing the gears out. Seems to be more economical.

Yep, that's the way to do it for sure!

sweet deal /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif If I were you I would just look for a 14bolt FF with 4.10s and a open there not to hard to find and you can sell off that 3.73 govelock 14bolt

Yeah, thats what I was thinking too. But for now, I'm just glad to have the setup. When I get the 60 rebuilt, then I'll worry about the rear.

Cool, shouldn't be long till you have a Shackle Flip to go with them /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I got that deal from a guy about 30 minutes from where I live. He bought a 1 ton truck for the axles but gave up on the project. He had a blazer he tried to sell me that we well worth the money, but I wasn't interested. I can see if he can get another set if you want. I've got to call him tomorrow.
