Been thinking on this one for a while and came up with this. I started with a old exercise bike seat post adjuster then fabbed it into the dash and glove box area. Simple but effective (I Hope) and totally adjustable length wise and being somewhat hidden when not in use.

good idea for the kind of driving you do. :thumb:

Is it triangulated at all? seem like fully extended people could put quit a bit of pressure on that thing.
I'd pad the center and add some dirtbike grips :D vvvrrmmmmmm
good call! :D

Triangulated at all. Ya it's bolted to the dash right under the glove box with a backer as well then it's bolted to that piece that I welded to the inside behind the glove box. It is pretty solid BUT we will see, Takin it out this weekend

that may have come off more harsh than I meant it. I was just curious as to how it was braced. It's kinda hard to tell which direction that under the dash piece was going.

I vote just a full set of bars complete with twist throttle and brake/clutch levers :D

I like it! I have thought about how to incorporate one for a while that wasn't "jeepish" and possibly removable.

I agree it needs round grips though. Unless your girl likes grabbing square things.

great idea of keeping the hands inside the vehicle...I've thought of adding a removable grab bar to the back seats:

Sooooo after listening to several passengers I decided to mod my O-**** Handle. Here is the New and Improved version. I used Pink grips and am going to re-name it the SISSY BAR:whistle:

got me thinking about this again. hmmm....

but maybe just hoops on either side of the seat

like Tower of Terror ride at DisneyLand. Drops you in the elevator and you hold ur ass to the seat with the hoops next to it :D

I approve. :thumb:

How fast do you really get going? does it get that hairy?

75ish. For sure gona push more this season as the rig proves itself worthy.(I did add the triple by-passes in the rear since last season)
To me it's not hairy at all. But I'm in control, well at least I pretend to be. I think people/passengers just like to have something to hold on to, a nice solid place to put their hands.

I think the thing with a passenger sissy bar is comfort. You're not thrown around as much as a driver because you're holding onto the wheel. Like taking a nice long curved onramp/offramp it feels nice and smooth to you, but your passenger is leaning all the way to one side.

Think the bar looks good, but I kinda like that side hoop idea.
