new pics to come, 1968 burb is MINE PICS UP!!! 12-21-05

I'v spent the last 4 hours just stearing at it and measureing for all my dreams, and just opening and closing the hood and doors,LOL

I took a bunch of pics, just need some day light ones too.

i'll have em up tomorrow

sorry no pics yet, took some today as it sits right now, the front clip is off the motor tranny and case are ready to be pulled after work tomorrow. and my exhuast and gas tank are out.

plans are to fab mounts and put my 40 gallon in off of my 89. run new 2.5 primary and 3" tail pipes.

oh my adaptor should be here tomorrow so my hydro sm465-208 can go in tomorrow as well as my fresh 350 :):)

oh gonna fab my diesel radiator in there as well quite a bit wider but i can get her to fit. then mounting up my dual spal electric fans and ditching the shroud and stockers.

and last note before I shower for work ( i love pulling all nighters while working on rigs) I'm also sliding the drivetrain forward to clear the HEI, coming forward about 3.25" the new holes are half there.

anyways... I'm out for now, more tomorrow :O

thanks, I have since stripped it of it's half ton glory and in the middle of the 8" lift and 3/4 ton swap,

just need two dry days to paint stuff up to put it back to gether.

building my own 1st gen flip brackets too.

two dry days? with the weather we've been having LMAO might as well wait until July LOL

it's sitting with the front 8" I'm making my own flip brackets for the rear to go with the 4" springs.

who knew it was gonna be this hard to find a freaking flywheel for a sb400...for less then $125 plus core. I'v got a few I'm looking at on ebay.

I ordered the ORD flip yesterday for it. I couldn't wait. I got to measureing and mine already has 56's on it and runs a 2 leaf only pack. but Ihave some 56" 4" lifted ones for it with an extended beefy shackle. I can't get to my 400 right now since my blown up toyota is blocking it. I should just throw a junk blank block in there to get my tranny mount and driveslines made.... who knew it would take looking out the window at 1:45 at work on friday to just now figure that out,LMAO!!!

the front lift is 4" springs 1" zero rate (which need to be switched for a set that move the axel forward 1") and a 3.5" dropped crossmember. plus 3" longer shackles.I'll probably be front driveline less for a few until i can afford the high angle I need. since I moved the engine forward and clocked the 208.

nice truck!!!!!

i want a 68, but i thought the front end was different, with the rased hood and the bowties on the front of the hood, or shoot was that 66?

that was 69 and 70

67 and 68 are slant back hood front and the only two steel grille years

69-72 are flat front with aluminum grille

and then in 71 72 tey put the gowtie back on the grille again but plastic grille just surrounded by aluminum instead of all aluminum

very nice 68 burban you scored there, very drool

i had a 68 panel delivery once, a c-10 one just as nice

i have pics of all somewhere, hmmm.

take good care of that 68 man :D

i need to get another 68, have had a few different 68s and other years of the CST era,
including 1 ton duallies, a C-60,
and the panel delivery and such,
