New Pics with Speed Liner

That looks nice! I've been kicking the idea around for a couple of months, and even colored a pic of my '72 with a sharpie to get an idea of how the liner going over the wheel wells would look, your pics just sold me on it. My whole tub is already lined, but the exterior and grill, lights etc need it. I wish they made those flat door panels for the '72 I would rather have those and line them too.

Looks great man. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Hopefully mine will be similar but with dark yellow paint soon.(wife nixed the new paint all around idea)

By the way, what is that color (the red, not the beautiful dk yel. in the background /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

Thanks for the comments, Getting psyched to git er done.

The red is a PPG color Crimson King Red. It is a base coat clear coat.

I took a wild guess at how I wanted the speed liner done. I think it turned out well. Wife even likes it. That is always a plus!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

the dark yellow is the owner of the body shop's pickup. Stock with a big block. He is getting ready to redo it along with an old bronco he owns. He already did a 2nd gen blazer for his GF.

looks good!!!!! i did the same outside stuff. never thought of inside, sounds neat! by the way i think that yellow is called ochre. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

speedliner is professionally sprayed similar to rhino lining.

Sorry LKJR didn't see your question about the cost. Don't know on that I know I will be paying lots for the whole job though. Owner said similar to paint cost so I would imagine 3 to 5 hun

You're starting to scare me with how nice it's looking. I hope my wife never see's it, since all I'll hear is "why isn't ours that nice and why isn't ours that pretty. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif But it is looking good.

Body shop is doing the paint and speedliner. I stripped it and will re-assemble. I am not sure what I will have more of hours or dollars when I am done. It has been down for about a year waiting on different things.
