I'm 5'8" and my K5 has a 12" lift, and will never get steps. I have a hard enough time getting into it by grabbing the steering wheel and pulling my way up, but for passengers, it's a whole 'nother story. I usually end up just lifting my girlfriend (who's 5'5") into it, I don't mind. ;) But it will definitely never get steps; I hate the look of 'em hanging down off the doors.

Oh, and don't paint it flat black, that fad is overdone and a bit stupid. I think the white looks good with black wheels, although I'm not a fan of those red and blue stripes that are around the wheels. Those look a little funny. Other than that, nice truck! :waytogo:

Dump the steps, gain some ground clearance and grab her butt to help her in! Win-win situation!:haha:

Yeah my dad's truck is about the same height as mine and he doesn't have steps...I just grab the top of the door frame and the top of the truck and hop in...but that doesn't work for everyone.
I don't love the fact that they are on there but they are an evil necessity around here...I'll admit I like having them on there...especially in parking lots where people park RIGHT next to me and I can only get the door open a little tiny bit...the steps make a BIG difference then.

haha yeah thats the response all my buddies give me...

I really need more lift...I was going to cut the fenders but I can't bring myself to do it...right now those are 8" lift springs but iono...I was thinking about getting a set of 10"-12" custom packs made...maybe alcan.

Yeah, my point exactly! (Especially the butt grabbing :D)

And although I'd love to get custom spring packs from Alcan, the price immediately wipes that thought from my mind. If I were you I'd just go with a 10" lift from Superlift. Heck, you're already halfway there; all you need is a set of front lift springs, a 2.5" shackle flip on the rear, and a steering correction part of your choice. Along with new shocks of course ;).

yeah...true...

lol...just for muddybuddy...we are just friends so don't get any ideas...oh btw she is on the left in this pic...

Nice pics.

What does iono stand for?

As far as springs go, in your case you dont need much flex I woudn't think, so I wouldnt waste money on alcans. I would just go for some superlift or tufff country springs or something.

Run 10-12 inch springs in the front and 6-8 inch springs and a shackle flip in the rear.

Thats just my 2 cents though.
