Not sure on having the harness reworked, but a new harness that's already reworked are going for 500-600 it seems. Re-flash of the PCM is $200 for most companies
My throttle is drive by wire too. So if I stuck with that, the Holley kit is $1499. Compared to a new harness + PCM reflash = $700-800. I think I'll skip the Holley kit
It’s not a cheaper option, it just a better option for those trying to control oddball combos , boosted stuff , etc . For the guy just wanting to swap in a stock LS and go there are much cheaper ways to go.
I think the goal is you need to look at your combo and consider all options. Like Yellowk20 said. Is your combo weird enough one off-site reflash might not work? Or is it something the Holley can do easily, or do you need/want to tune factory stuff to work with HPT or EFIlive. They all can get expensive fast if you're not careful.
Finding the solution that works for your combo and within budget is the goal.
