I picked this blazer up last fall with a locked up motor, apparently somebody didn't know that you had to check the oil regularly. Paid 700 dollars for it, its in really good shape inside and out. My two high school age boys are helping me put a different motor and a rebuilt trans in it, will be their wheels for a few years till they both graduate. It fits in great with our other vehicles, 87 burb, 84 reg cab, 86 crew cab. When we are done they all will be red/white with grey interiors. I started out wanting twins then it grew to quadruplets. We got the engine set in yesterday so the trans/tcase is next on the list then getting everything hooked up, It has a red interior but last fall my daughter and I stripped out another 87 blazer that had a grey interior so after we get it running good we can swap interiors and then get to the paint. My burb is red with a white band and thats how I want to paint them all. Kind of new on this board, there are some sweet outfits on here, thanks for the inspiration everybody!!

With my '87(305/SM465/NP208) I am impressed with the solidness of it. The doors open & shut clean, the glass is all good with no cracks with the exception of a small ding in the windshield, the hood opens easy,...it was very well taken care of stock K5. The paint is rather worn but the body is totally straight,so I have a great prospect for a restoration project. Now if I can just get one of my kids or grandkids to teach me how to upload pictures... This is a great site for info & sharing. Welcome

I use my phone for my pics, the quality isnt that great but it gets the point across. I save them on my computer then its easy to put them in posts.

I wanted to replace the two o rings on the fuel line connections down by the trans, where do I get them? Dealer only? Got the trans bolted in tonight, need to go through the t case before it goes in and some cleaning on the crossmember, flywheel cover, starter ect before they get installed. Slow but steady! Here is a pic of the crew cab we picked up a few weeks ago, its in pretty good shape and was a 6.2/400 but its all gone which is ok cause that saves me some work stripping it. Want to do a 12 valve/4l80e combo down the road when I get all the pieces collected.
