New Project Blazer anyone?? Update

i saw that yesterday, its got the same interior as mine and mines an '89 but it looks like they must have done a grill conversion, either that or they dont know the right year...

Too nice for a Project , just needs paint and some interior :D

I have some stuff in the backyard for hacking if ya want a project ;)

I'll bet the drivetrain is stock... so in my book it's a small project. But believe me, I have a real project! I've got a frame right now that I'm completely redoing the drivetrain (including my 383). The frame is a 77 and the body going on is a 54... that's a bit of a project if I do say so myself  :smirk:

Sounds like no emissions , and if ya don't bolt on the front fenders ya can see them tires :D

I don't have any emissions what-so-ever! True... if I took of the fenders I'd have all the flex in the world... a thought to consider when I take it off road, depending upon how difficult it is to do (and when I stripped it down... it took a little bit of time). But the time is worth it to take them off so that I can articulate without a worry. My next question, though, would be the structural integrity of the whole front end without 'em. But who knows... Maybe I'll try it :p: :cool1:

VIN checks out as an '89... but there is something weird about the front clip. It may just be the base-model, and the fancy ones came with the quad headlight thing.

IIRC they all came with the "Quad Headlight" except for Fleet/Municipal and Military versions.

The front end on this one ( ebay truck ) is probably the result of a wreck at one time . It most definitely has the proper tailgate emblem , seat risers etc .

This frontend looks like mid 80's headlight buckets and turn signals , maybe 87 since there is no trim on the headlight buckets .

This is what the "worktruck" frontend looked like on 89-91's :D

speaking of toby(orange blazer) has he decided to rebuild or not. last time i was in san angelo it didnt look like it was going anywhere.
