Well since im looking for a newer truck for my dd/tow rig, i started thinking about the extra suburban frame i have sitting out back. How hard would it be to mount a 88-98 chevy extended cab and bed on that frame?? Im thinking about doing it because i like that body style and im not a big fan of ifs.

The overall lengths are extended cab short bed = 218" and the suburban frame is 219" overall correct? If that is correct than it would just be moving the rear axle back like 11" i think.

Another reason for building it using the sub frame is it would be cheaper and i wanna put a diesel in it probably a 6.5.

Any opinions?

thanks brad

sounds like a cool idea to me. I won't say it will be easy but would definatly be cool when done
