new project induction question

thinking of either a tunnel ram with some small holleys with stacks or a single holley with a finned air cleaner.
which would have a better 50's rat rod style??

I wouldn't do a crossram on a rat rod. Personally I'd do the tunnel ram. I like tall engines in rat rods. Not sure why... Unless its a flat head. Then some reason I like them wide. Eh, wtf, anythings cool in a rat.

Do neither. There were no cross ram intakes or tunnel rams for small blocks in the 50's. Would not be period correct. A cast iron dual quad intake off of a 265 or 283 would be more nostalgic.

well it'll have to be a 60 version of a 50's rod,LMAO my steering wheel is out of a 61 Impala. seats are a late 60's not sure when Stewart Warner gauges came out.
I really like the crossram though. cheap too. I'll maybe build a trick air cleaner
for it.


I need Chip to draw up my idea of it so you guys can see what I'm thinking.
