It could have some crud in the jets. One thing you could do is remove the idle mixture screws and blow some air in there.
When you get it running turn the mixture screws in until you hear the idle drop, then I back it off about 1.5 turns. Do this to both idle screws, then reset the the idle speed.
After that double check the timing with the vacuum disconnected.
I just had the same issues last weekend & this fixed it. I also recommend changing the filter & fuel line hose.
