I need to replace my radiator. The truck had AC. But it is no longer hooked up and I don't forsee myself hooking it back. Right now the radiator that is in the truck has some of the AC parts hooked up to it. My question is. Is it possible to get a new radiator that does not have the AC hookups? Or do I need to have radiator fluid running thru the pipes as it is doing now?

Radiator doesn't have AC hookups. AC condensor is a separate radiator looking piece in FRONT of the radiator.

Only things hooked up to a gas radiator are going to be the tranny cooling lines if automatic, the overflow line from the fill neck, and the heater line.

Oh ok. So heres another question. I have the new radiator. I was going to install it today. But I wasnt able to get the tranny lines off. The nuts are rounded off. ANy suggestions on how to fix this? Can I get new lines or???

I don't think you have a choice but to flare new short sections if the nuts are rounded. You shouldn't need to replace the whole line, and I think that would be a big pain.

You did use a tubing wrench on them, right?

I didn't try to take them off. After replacing my heater core I was tired of working on the truck. I wasn't aware of a tubing wrench. Ill have to look for one tomorrow.
