1/2 ton status
Back in 2009 I posted that I tried to purchased a new radiator for my 87 GM. All I could find were the plastic / alum. radiators and the top hose inlet was too big. I ended up having my old rad. repaired.
Here it is 2 years later and I need a new rad. for one of my other trucks. I thought they had this issue resolved, but no, the top rad. hose inlet is still too big. I asked to see a new upper hose thinking they may have made them with a wider opening, but no, it did't fit, it matched the old hose on my truck.
Am I missing something? Is there an adaptor? Did any of the 2nd Gen. trucks have a larger upper hose inlet?
What are you guys doing?
