Just taking a minute to bask in the joy. Finally got the new motor in, and the tranny dialed in as well. Got the motor in a few weeks ago, but could not get the tranny to behave. Gotta give thanks to DP90K5 (Daniel) for all his work on bumpers, and for hooking me up with Steve at Rockit Engineering for the cage work and motor install. Took awhile but the results are well worth it...there goes my 2.7 seconds of fame...back to work now to pay for everything...thanks:waytogo:

How do you like it, any install tips or pictures. I was planning on a ramjet in mine this summer, but I might wait till next, but I will hopefully have one eventually. Hows the power also?

No pics ? It didn't happen...

I can vouch for djsblaze's K5. It is literally the nicest 1 ton K5 I have ever seen. From the powder coated cage and the Rhino lined interior to the authentic Ferrari red paint and the Ramjet 350, you won't find a nicer looking K5 out there.

I snuck a few pictures of his cage. Let me see if I can find one or two.

Well DP I'm blushing now. I don't have any pics. I don't even have a digital camera. As for install tips, a buddy of mine and DP's did it. Install went easy, tranny was the problem in getting it adjusted. There is also a built in break in program where you cant go above 4000RPM til after 8 hours. Redline is 5600 but I have not seen it yet. At 4000 it pulls really hard, but its not a dragster by any means. I'll have a better idea in a week or two when I hit the magic 8 hours. Seems to be a nice healthy motor, that will last, and start when I want it to, without all the hi-po hiccups. Could not be happier with the way it drives and shifts though...dialing in the tranny made the biggest difference.

Doug, hope you don't mind me posting these. They're not the best pictures, but I wanted to capture the detail of the cage...
