i ordered a new cable for the power back glass since mine broke. it was full of heavy grease and finally gave up the ghost.

I have the regulator in good operating shape, and lubed up well. are there any tricks to installing the inner and outer window seals? I ordered them from classic parts.

Also the glass channels have no felt or seals left in there. any tricks to glue in some new seals or felts?

Thanks JD

installed

installed the cable, and the oustide seal.

After installing the inside seal the window would barely move. i could not hardly even help it up.

i removed the inside seal, and it would go up and down perfectly. has anyone ever trimmed the inner seal so it would not be so tight?

a search might turn up better results but I would say lubrication is your friend.:whistle:

No seriously its seems like most who do this need to put some silicone spray on it to help the glass slide easier, it gets better with time too.
