hey guys whats going on? i just picked up another 88 K5 last night, i only got one pic right now but hopefully ill get some more today. but anyways i got for $800 bucks with some nice mickey thompson baja belteds, 36x14.5x15 and some pretty nice wheels on it too, she runs and drives too, steering is loose as crap and the lift in the rear is blocks, but hey i drover it home ha. ill get some more tech info once i get up underneath her skirt today and figure out whats going on.

thats my buddy scott helping me show the height of the truck ha heres a couple pics of my rust box...shes an 88 as well and has a 4 inch tuff country lift and 33" swampers on her...engine has 10,000 miles and the tranny has 500 miles on the clutch,flywheel,master/slave cylinders, and starter. but she is rusted through and the rear is completly shot.

well since the one i picked up last night is very solid in the frame and body, im gunna convert it to manual trans, because i have a prettynice sm465 i believe in the other one but that has a shot body....so its gunna be a frankstein of sorts, and as far as the rpo codes tell me on the new one it came with 3.08 gears but the way this thing takes off and with the big tires and everything im thinking someone had to put 4.10's in it cuz im running out of engine at 65 haha

Still have 2 pics side by side, it's really not a big deal, it just sucks scolling side ways.

So are you going to keep them both, or just use the rusty one for parts or what?

rust bucket will mostly be used for the engine, trans, and little things...unless i find a 454
