Aquired a new rig this weekend.
86 k30
8200 original miles
6.2l NA Diesel
T400
205 w/ pto
D60 4.56 locked (or bad arsh limited slip?)
14 FF 4.56 detroit
No rust
No dents (until the way home got a minor dent when we took it wheeling).

Will crossover steering from my 10 bolt work on my 60. I know the steering arms are different but will my tierod and draglink work? Also what can you do to make these 6.5's stronger. I would like some power out of her.

That year truck should have a 6.2 motor, the 6.5 didn't come in our body style.

Is it a CUCV?

Yes it is a cucv. It had the giant ambulance looking bed on the back. it said 386 ci so i guess it is a 6.2.

Cool, the limited slip (Trac Lock) / PTO versions are rare finds! Good score!!

trac lok is what s in the front? That is good right? Or should I change it. Also do you know if the crossover steering from my 10 bolt will work on the 60?

wow.. 8200 miles... you sure the OD just didnt turn over? They were only 5 digit back then...

Usually the tell tale signs are there though- Like worn out seats, steering wheel, brake pedal, etc... but if not... you still might need to replace injectors, the truck could have spent its whole life idling!

No it is only 8200. Whole truck still looks brand new. No cracks no fading. Everything inside and under the hood look brand new. Even the undercarriage looks perfect. It has true duals is that factory? And it has no rust at all. No leaks. Nothing
