Just picked up my 2 front rims for our 70 Camaro, Boyd Coddington Smoothie I...17x8 with a 4.25" backspacing. The rear's won't be here until Dec 31st because they are making a one off set for me, 17x10 with a 5.25" backspacing /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif Tires will be a 245/40R17 for the front and a 275/40R17 or a 295/40R17 for the rear (depending on which will fit without hitting), we are liking the looks of the Toyo Proxes (sp?) z rated or maybe the BFG z rated tire.

Now its time to put it up on jack stands and rip into the suspension and brakes. Going with disc brakes in the rear, love that look with an open wheel.

unf, those are the rims the 69 needs /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif <-drooling

This is how it looks right now, very plain jane.

I got a phone call while I was gone that my rear rims are in also /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif I can't wait to get the car set up and ready for them. I love Torque Thrust II's but everyone has them so these were similar and a better choice /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
