Hey guys, im building up my 14bolt.. doing the disc swap thing. Anyways, i planned on just putting my old hub onto my new rotor. My bro who works at napa was talking with the guys about it and they said not to put an old hub/new rotor together.. is this true? can i just buy new rotor and studs put them on my old 14bolt hub? Whats your take?

I got a 14BFF and just installed my disc conversion kit from Black Widow and I used the original hub on the new rotor and those studs fit just fine... They still have enough length for rims... You'll be fine bro

yeah i wasnt worried about the length with things. just the fact some ppl said the hub and drum kinda wear together.. so the tolerances would be off. thanks.

Never heard of that. Everytime you have to replace your rotors, replace your hubs, that would get very expensive.

Yea, that doesn't sound right to me. My 14BFF is 1977 vintage and I put disks on it in 2004. No problems............
