I tell my wife that the garage is for working, not parking...I'm single, dude. That's why I can park whatever I want in the garage.

This may be off track but I have a regular old craftsman shop vac but I got the wife a new Shark vacuum for the house and put the old Shark out in the garage it works great and I hardly ever get the shop vac out anymore, who needs a dust pan suck it up and dump it in the trash. It works great on cleaning the inside of the car and truck as well.Any recommendations? The motor in mine just died and I miss it a lot. Are the wallmounted versions worth the hassle of extra long hoses?
that should be, like a commandment, or sumfin....![]()
Iva head that same one for about 4-5 years now. It doesn’t hurt to buy a few extra filters as well as extra nozzles and hoses and what not. My only complaint about the unit is that the couple of long tubes I have don’t stick very well to the little holsters on the backside by the big wheels. Also the little baggy that holds the nozzles doesn’t do the best job of holding them all (namely as I bought a few different styles). But as far as machines go it is a premium suckerWent and picked up the handled version mike recommended. I love the two large wheels in the back. Those make it easy going over cords and hoses and makes steering it a little easier. The big handle also helps maneuvering it around. Another big plus is the blower feature which my other one didn't have. I had to turn on my air compressor and wait for it to fill before blowing out dust from the workbenches.
I forgot I have another vacuum attached to my bead blast cabinet. I may use that for a central vacuum type setup at some point but I'm liking this new ridgid vac.
