Well, I was thinking I should start a new thread.

Here is the starting place:

This is what it looked like when I got it. Nice and clean.

Can someone go out and take a meassurement of their back window on a regular Truck, so I can make sure of the interchangeability.

It looks slightly different than what I see on JC Whitney and LMC, so who knows?

Yeah, I am looking around and they might have used the earlier 67-72 style rear window or maybe the 60-66.

Going out to look for a part number or brand name!

Wish me luck.

Thanks Obi!:D

It's a dodge, went back re-read the other thread.

I am a dumby, but now I have to find out what dodge!

Are you having a conversation with yourself:confused::haha:

I have been thinking about that ALLLLLLLLLLL day. Not sure, but it may be something we build into the new one.

I may have to sacrifice "your" topper to experiment! I really don't like the "dodge" back window as it is shaped weird, but whatever.

you sure you want to cut up the original? maybe sell it back on CL when youre done with it.

I was going to sell it to you. If someone has a CHEVY rear window, I would like to see if it would work.

I got a bunch of them, you could just have one. It might be hard to ship though, especially seeing as you could get one local for next to nothing I am sure.

Well gentlemen, The lack of time money and too many projects has reached it's apex with me.

I had what alcoholics call a moment of clarity this AM.

I cannot continue with another project, so this wonderful piece of K5 history needs to get gone.

I will put obijuan in line first as he has showed the most interest.

PM me obi if you want it.

I apologize for letting any of you down, but it is just too much.

I am going to start getting rid of some of the stuff I have not used and I am contemplating getting rid of the Suburban all together.

I have a protools bender with a 1.5" die, which is the 2nd thing that needs to go.

Unfortunately, I am not going to ship anything, but could possibly get it to Austin, San Antonio, Tyler or Dallas if need be.

Thanks guys for all of the support over the years!
