this is a loaded question. either you want people to tell you they are great and you should keep them in order to convince yourself they are OK, or you want us to tell you the truth. that they are terrible. they get the job done but are ugly and don't match the truck. but they are a gift, from your wife, so you probably want the first response.

maybe you will rip them off wheeling, but the truck is nice looking so I suspect that won't happen.

not trying to be harsh, just inject some extra thought into my response. there isn't a vehicle out there that those steps blend in with. they are just to small.

so smile, kiss the wife, say thanks, and don't care about random peoples opinions.

Haha thats kinda my feelings too on the whole issue, Wife has a hard time getting in to it, Not a wheeler at all just a pavement queen, the paint is still too fresh to think about getting it dirty. Anyone know of any steps that do go with this body style?

I'm glad you took that the right way.

I had tubular nerf bars with diamond plate treads that looked decent. but I didn't own a gen 1. no matter what, they need to be bigger, you have a big lifted truck.

Thats a great looking truck, and no step will do. Get her a milk crate with a rope tied to it so she can pull it up once shes in.:D
