New sub club member

Bought an 89 V10 Suburban this weekend. Body is rough, but runs strong(knock on wood) has 100,000 miles on it. Plan to fix it up to be dd/tow rig. now all I need are some sub culture stickers. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

will the stock drivetrain hold up, or will I have to upgrade? It just all depends on what your intentions are for this rig....my burb is still sitting on 1/2ton running gear and I've wheeled the piss out of it, but I am upgrading to 3/4ton stuff for towing purposes.
