I have an 89 GMC Jimmy. I'm currently running 33/12.50/r15 with a 4 inch lift. Plenty of room around the tire. I am poised to get a set (5) Toyo OpenCountry M/T, 37/14.50/r15.

Picturing it in my head, they should fit. As for rubbing, I don't know.

Has anyone else ran with this set up? If so, how did it work out? I don't plan on wheeling. I'm building/restoring my truck for looks.

Thanks for info!

Where would I need to trim, and roughly how much? I've never done this before, newbcakes when it comes to modding trucks.

it'll be the front fenders that give you issues... definitely a few inches off the back lip, and probably some of the front fang too...

look thru that thread i posted, you'll see some trim jobs.. there are varyting degress of "hack" you can do... sharp edged quickie cut, I'm sectioning mine to maintain a factory lip...

I can't remember where or what thread on here it was but there were pictures with all the exact dimensions measured out for trimming the front and the rear. It was a brown Blazer with all the points of measurment in neon green.

I have 37x13.5x17s on H2's on my truck with 6" lift. Dunno if it rubs yet, haven't taken it out yet. But those tires fill the wheelwells up for sure. Tho they are just about bald, they measure 35".

k30 4"hd lift 2" body lift. 37" goodyear hummer radials 3/4 tread.

30* ramp 1/3 up the ramp for a 320 score. and the tires were rubbin the fender corners good. and some trail flexing was rubbing good at times.

you will need some major trimming or more lift.
