New to 2nd gen., Lift ?\'s

I just bought a stock 90' K5, I want to lift it probably 4" w/35" tires. My question is does a 4" lift elimnate the rear end sag or do I need to get 6" springs in the rear to level it out. Thanks in advance.

It will if you get new springs. If its sagged now, blocks will let it sag. If its not real bad a shackle flip may level it out. In my case the rear springs were ok and rear now sits up a hair, and trailbox about levels it (heavy with spares). /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

BTW if its real bad sagging you can do shackle flip and zero rate add a leaf, see ORD

You have to realize the rear springs are used and old, so that can be a reason they sag. If you need to level you can get a zero rate.
