New to CB

So, I've been wanting in on this CB thing and with the recent acquisition of a couple of non-working radios I need to learn a bit more about them.

What I need is a great, in-depth site that explains the general and specific functionings of CB radios. All that good electronic-geek stuff, ya know?

I have a Uniden PC66XL and a Maxon MCB-45W that were given to me due to them not functioning correctly. I'm not sure how they're malfunctioning since I haven't hooked them up yet.

But mainly I just need to learn more about how they work.

IIRC the PC66XL shares most components wiht a corba radio. Maybe the 29??
