Hi. I'm new to the data logging group. Ive got winaldl and their cable but i don't know what I'm looking at. when i data log do i set in the driveway or drive around? if i drive is it normal type driving or speed runs? how long do i run the log? and what is BLM stand for? Ive got a 1988 k5 350/700r4/208
bone stock and i'm trying to work out some idle surge issues. thank you in advanced

You should make sure everything is in tip top shape before datalogging, it will not tell you what is wrong with the engine. I would start with cleaning the Idle Air control motor, and then check the throttle body gasket, and finally, the intake manifold gaskets. Check for any excess play in your throttle shaft. Check your EGR valve to insure that it is operating properly.
