Hi everyone.

I just thought that I would introduce myself and my new truck.
My name is KJ and I just bought a 1975 3/4 Ton with a flat bed and a big block of some kind. I plan to use this truck for towing and yard and house work.
Here are a few pictures of the new truck.

I have been playing with it and trying to figure out all of the strange things that previous owner did. I am also having problems getting it to run well but I will ask questions a little later:wink1:

Welcome to CK5!....but wait a minute....I have a vision....I see you with power tools and a pile of new parts, I see you chopping off that flat bed and...yes, there's a cage going on and plastic fuel cell, long travel shocks and, and....:D
Welcome to the best website around!:wink1:

nice truck, ya'll up there have tons of trucks left, its crazy

looks like a bunch of aftermaket stuff on that engine, possibly too much, especially with the intake and carb

if the engine is stock as far as heads and cam and such go then id think about putting stock intake and carb back on it, for starters
i bet it eats gas alot currently

good luck and welcome to CK5

Welcome KJ, I'm just down the road ('bout 2hrs.)from you, by WallyWorld...Nice looking truck by the way.

welcome K.J. I am real close to you (Spokane Valley) I drive a 73 brown k5 and a red 84 s15. Have you been to seven mile offroad area?

Hey duanel, I have not been out to the seven mile offroad area in the truck yet. I have been there and seen people playing when I was mountain biking but I haven't had the truck long enough to play.

R77K10 you probably have a very good point. I haven't really looked at the gas consumption yet I am still trying to figure out what it wrong with it and get it to run well before I worry about that. I bought the truck about two weeks ago and right now I am just trying to cure the engine problems.

So far this truck and I don't see eye to eye, I want it to run well and it seems to be happy just the way it is:rolleyes:
