Picked up this 84 K20 last week. Right now it is pretty much all stock. It has 6.2/Th400/np241?, no lift, 17" dodge rims and 33" Cooper STS tires. Had some issues with the lift pump but I got it running again tonight! I am stoked, its my first diesel so I have a lot to learn!

Not sure what my plans are yet. Cant decide if I want to semi-restore it and keep it for a dd. Or lift it a little and use it for dd/weekend warrior? Either way I like the way it looks, but if I did lift it I would rock some 37" on H2 rims I think.

Not bad is that the one you traded for? So you going to wheel it like you stole it?

Cool!! I 'd like to find a nice K20/K30 with a 6.2 and SM465.

Not quite yet, but in time! Thats what the k5 will be for now! Now I can start ripping into that this summer! :doah:

Edit: yep Lawrence, thats the one!

So anyone know what the backspacing of those wheels are? Not quite sure where its rubbing yet but it does at full crank.

Thats what I figured. Oh well they are about done anyways. Just need to do a shackle flip in the rear and figure out if I want to just do 4" springs in the front or do 52's up front? Probably springs.

If you are driving it on the street, run a set of 4" lift springs up front! 52s are too flexy to handle well on pavement

Yep thats what I am gonna do. Now I just need to put in a new alternator :doah: But I am just going to use the one I have in my K5 for now.

Only guys like us get excited to have a rusty clap-traption of a diesel pickup like that. My sister cannot fathom for the life of her why I want to keep my K-5:rolleyes:

Nice ride!:wink1:

Yep when I told my girlfriend that I was trading my jetta for this she couldnt understand why i wanted to trade a perfectly good car for a pos truck haha. Guess I am just crazy, thank god I have this site to tell me I did good :D

Yeah there's a 6.2 Blazer just south of town that has been for sale for at least 4 months, maybe I should go offer him a grand for it:D Just to have to commute in is all.:wink1: Well not now that my commute is less than a mile away.
