So Cal.
so I needed reliable transportation since my burb is having a major motor problem. so I bought a GM certified used 06' 2500HD 2wd STD cab longbed with the 6000 motor.

its non power window and door lock, rubber floor mat and no material on the door panels which is exactly what I wanter for my DD. nothing fancy but affordable, but I can still tow for my needs and haul stuff.

it was still under the original warenty millage so I bought the aditional 2yr/24,000 mile extended GMAC warrenty, so even though its "used" it still covered bumper to bumper for 2 years/24,000 miles. the CAR FAX is clean too.

its really clean, I dont think the previous owner was a smoker since I cant smell any odor in the headliner. ofcourse they cleaned it up real well before they sold it but you can usually still smell it in the headliner.

am/fm radio, A/C, tilt. just the basics and all that I need. will do a spray in beadliner some time soon but for now Im gonna just be happy to drive it. :D

time to sell my 89' burb and unfortunatley my 70' chevy truck. this truck eases the pain though.

I figured if I bought a 2wd truck I would not have the erge to lift it, but ofcourse the first thought was PRERUNNER!!:D

naw, Im not gonna touch.............or atleast Im fighting the erge :haha: , no Im not going to.......no really Im not.......no really Im serious :D .

Nice. Now go out and finde you some of the aluminum HD wheels and throw on it. I have seen a few 2wds with the torsion bars cranked and bigger meats on them and looked really good.

solid axle that sucker! YOU gotta do it.:haha:

and light a stogy!

SAS, that would be badass! so you arent going to have a wheeler now? or are u keepn the flame k5?

oh no, Im keeping my 73' K5 thats my project currently, and 89' 1 ton crew cab 4X4 SRW.

Nice truck man! Perfect tow and work rig. Does your center backrest fold down into a center console?

nice truck. I dig the rubber floor. I'm tired of my carpet getting all dirty

i bought the same truck, 07 hd, withe same options and motor, only thing I opted for the the rear locker, some new design.

onlth thing I did for lift was torsion bars cranked and 285 tires:D

I sold my 70 C'10 in September, the wife's Vibe and bought a travel trailer and an 05' Sierra Crew cab 4x4 Z71 as the tow vehicle. Hated to see old blue go, but it got where I hardly ever drove it and just sat in the garage. Kept my K5 so at least now I'm down to 3 vehicles (for a while).
