it's an '80 1/2t.,going d60r/d44f.as it sits,it has an u/k mftr 6"block lift.i want to go 6"rear springs(tuff country e-z rides)question is,what length are the stock springs?and the d60 is 3"dia. u-bolts...right?d44 is...2.5 or 23/4in.dia.?also thinking of doing a 2in. spring lift on my '84.it has 14bff/d44 w/ stock 1/2t. springs.what length are those?thanks

a d 60 has 3 3/8" tubes but you only need 2-3 3/8" ublots, 2 bolts and one larger ubolt, im unsure of the size of it though. a 44/ 10 bolt uses 3" tubes. just order shocks for a 6 " lift

he is talking about a D60 rear, not a front.

the D44 could have 2.75" or 3" axle tubes, depending on year and make it came from. 3 are the same size and the closest one to the pig is 3.5" on a 3" axle tube axle, not sure on a 2.75" axle tube axle, 3.25 maybe. the D60 rear most likely will have 3" tubes, but you should measure first.

the springs lengths are 52 in the rear and 47 in the front. if you want to save some money, do a homemade shackle flip in the rear (best thing i ever did) and get a 2" sping. you will need to cut and turn the spring perches in a long bed as it points the pinion skyhigh.

i should have my truck running this week, ill stop by and show you my shackle flip if you want. email me directions to your new place. email is in my profile.
