Just wanted to say Hi been building my 69 for a few years now, what started as a full size half ton is now a bobbed 1 ton. Here are a few pics, currently upgrading steering and getting ready for a hidden winch.

Boy I do love that front clip.....

Welcome to the forum! :D

Welcome aboard!

When you get that steering done, push 'er out of the garage so we can get more shots of the overall look....

It's looking pretty stout from what I can already see.... and yes, I'm partial to that style grille also ('69 - '70)

:usaflag:

Welcome from another 69'er. Truck looks good and stout! Will look forward to seeing lots more pics. When you installed the Dana 60, did you need adapters to connect your stock front hard brake lines to the D60's rubber brake lines?

No I never used an adapter just braided steel lines for that year front end. Have a few pics with 38's on it and before the 63'' leaves in the back and 52'' in front.

Thought I would post some specs:
Healthy 350,sm465,np205,D60 detroit 4.56 gears, welded 14bolt disc brakes, 63" rear leaves with shackle flip, 52" in front using DIY4x kit(very nice stuff), sky man. crossover, 42" tsl's, 1350 front and rear driveshafts. Still to do borgeson steering shaft ( tore 2 rag joints this season), offroad design tie rod, and hopefully hydro assist.

Whats under the tarp/cover/blanket in the middle right hand side of that pic?

Exactly, why even go there.

Im just a pic whore:haha:
totally agree with all you guys, I dont think newer rigs get any of the comments taht I do, I never once got a comment on my 84, but the 72 I get at least 1 comment each time I take it out, Never gets old.
