Picked it up this afternoon. 1984 1-ton. 454/400/205 and the obvious 60 and 14 bolt. It's got some rust issues but nothing major. Came complete with the HUGE farmer bumper and cushioned hitch.
Has power nothing, no a/c, and vinyl flooring. So basically it's perfect.
88,000 miles (claims odo hasn't rolled), tranny was rebuilt at some point, and it has a shiny new carb on it.
Right now the plan is to fix the small things wrong with it, do bumpers, and trim to clear some larger tires in order to drop the rpm's on the highway. Have to replace the lock cylinders, do a valve cover gasket, and fix the surge tank tomorrow. Probably going to throw a york I have laying around on it so that I can run air tools.
Eventually I'd like to go to some sort of overdrive. We'll be doing an NV4500 swap in another truck pretty soon here and they're getting somewhat affordable.
