Got it today...the key phrases so far are: "screamin' deal" and "hot knife thru butter" :waytogo:

OK, so the cart it came on is ghey...but that can be fixed. ;)

What a bad ass machine! 230V 100% duty cycle, cut 1/2" no problem.
I know how much that machine retails for new, if you don't mind, what was your screamin' deal price? Even though I am a Miller man, Thermadyne makes good stuff.

I got it for $500. I went to check it out, and the guy selling it said he didn't know much about it (or plasma cutters in general). He'd bought it used a couple years ago when he started his shop (ricer speed shop), but never actually used it himself. I got there and the tip and electrode on it were thrashed to the point where it was having trouble - he ended up driving to Airgas and buying a 10-pack of tips and a 10-pack of electrodes (over $100 worth of stuff). We got back and it worked fantastic with new consumables and I told him I'd take it. I pulled out some extra money for the consumables and he said not to worry about it - he was just glad I actually showed up (he'd dealt with a lot of craigslist BS and no-shows apparently). Really cool guy :waytogo:

I got it home and it buzzed through some 3/8" I had lying around super easy/fast. I'm happy.
