I took a test meter to it and it gives 19 volts to it. so it will jump a car.
my question is 19.43 volts too much for a 12 volt system?

Man that’s high class, I should probably upgrade. I just use these radio install chingasos to jump stuff. Did the suburban a few days ago. Jumped the welder with an m18 too

My guess is that it’s safe, but do some research first. The ecu more than likely has a voltage regulator built into it which can take a higher voltage (say 25V) and drop it down to what the ecu needs (probably 5V or 3.3V). All depends on what voltage regulator the engineers used and what the max voltage it is capable of handling.
