I was having a hard time trying to figure out what you got there, but now I see a ReadyWelder II. Only thing stopped me from ordering today was I'm busy with front axle, and I wanted to think about it over the weekend. What do you think of that welder Don? Do you have an HD welder in the shop also? I haven't been able to determine if the RWII can cut at all (with gas).
Thanks
Who let 53 years go by without telling me?:haha:

Welds 1/2 inch with two batteries, 3/4 inch with three batteries. Just opened it near dark, so I just got the wire spool in it and made sure it work on a piece of chain on one battery..............yep, welded it, sure enough, duh!!!

About 50 inches of weld from two batteries, according to the fellow NC4X4 member I ordered it through. Though I do have an old "large" stick welder! I wanted a mig welder for thin stuff and I weld "prettier" with a mig!

I LOVE mine, Ive done all kinds of stuff with it. But I have had problems geting it to feed out the flux core wire on just one batt. Other than that it's a great welder! (just ask the Heep driver from my last outing that is still driving on the welds:p:)
