Went looking at new trailers recently... came home with this thing. 22 foot, 14K, full hydraulic tilt, winch plate, etc.

Installed the winch the next day but had to figure out the wiring since the HF cables were too short.

I rigged up a junction from parts left over from the 99 Suburban along with the old battery cables as extensions to the battery.

I was able to clean up the wiring and used a long bungee to pull up the excess cable so it doesn't hang down. Then went and tested it moving this junk car.

Awesome! How do you like the deck-over vs a low boy?
I'm not selling the old trailer yet until I've had a chance to haul some distance. I've only had it on the road empty so far. But I like the way it loads and unloads a dead vehicle better.
Very nice. How much does it weigh?
A little over 4K empty.

My brother in law bought a Big Tex 14k over axle in the 20' length a few years ago and it is a great trailer and very useful with no fenders in the way. We have hauled a lot of big square hay bales on it and I hauled a 10k lb cement septic tank over the mtn with it when I built my house. He hauls his 4x4 Kubota loader tractor and side by sides all the time too. Way more useful than a regular car trailer.
I like the tilt deck on yours since you don't have to mess with ramps and can just winch on and go like a wrecker. Only time it'd be a pain for me would be putting a bunch of side by sides and atvs on it one at a time but I'm sure you could just use some ramps and load with it flat.

It wouldn't be any different than a fixed flatbed with ramps other than it doesn't have built in ramps or places for them to hook into from the factory. It would not be hard to modify to accept ramps. The only downside I see is drilling/cutting into the powder coating. It is not as easy to touch up as paint.
