What's up guys, thought I'd share some info on the rig I picked up last night, I'd like to hear yalls thoughts. 1984 Jimmy High Sierra. 6.2 diesel/700r4/208 I think. Has been sitting 2 years because the guy found a new project. He said there's no doubt in his mind the drivetrain is fine. 109k I believe on the clock, that's what title says. Regardless, the drivetrain has 70k. The body is straight as an arrow exept the hood and bumpers and there is no rust exept for the edges of the floors in the front. I was told it had 1 tons under it and when I went to look at it the only thing that disappointed me about the truck was there's no Dana 60 up front. It's an 8 lug D44 I geuss. Still has a 14 bolt rear though. It's lifted 3 or 4 inch all spring on 35s. I paid 800 bucks for it. Plans are get it running and driving to the point I can daily it, then start restoring my 76. I'm gonna get pics up as soon as I can. What yall think. Here is a link to my photobucket, my phone was crashing when I tried uploading pics to the site so here's a link and there's pics of it in that album.
